A good weekend for Luisa Fallon and Gregor Watson’s ‘Boss’ at Kingdom of Fife agility show which took place on 2nd and 3rd April. Despite some memory loss regarding the weave poles clever Boss added another couple of rosettes to his collection, with a second place on both days.

The HOUND ASSOCIATION of SCOTLAND held their Championship show at Errol on 9th April

Congratulations to David Craig and Ch Davricard Jacob who took BEST IN SHOW under judge Mr Wendell Moore and to Luisa Fallon and Gregor Watson’s Newlin Rambler who took the award of BEST SPECIAL BEGINNER IN SHOW judged by Mr Jerry Robertson.

The breed judge was Mrs Melanie Raymond (Dialynne).

David also took the BCC with Ch Bayard Glory Bee (far right) and the RBCC with the junior Davricard Marcia (right).

The RDCC stayed in Scotland and was a first for Jalhar Fame N Fortune from Kelcardi who is owned by Kelly Diamond and Ben Carruthers. Congratulations!

Both BPD and BPB went to Scottish owned 11 month old puppies. Congratulations to both!.

Two more Scottish winners. Best Veteran in Breed (left) was the 10 year old bitch Finmorlan Symphony owned and bred by Fiona MacDonald. Newlin Rambler (right) took the top award of Best Special Beginner In Show. ‘Boss’ is owned by Luisa Fallon and Gregor Watson. Congratulations!

Another excellent day for beagles, this time at Ross & Cromarty CC Open Show on 17th April. Held outdoors at Black Isle Showground, Muir of Ord, the replacement judge of hounds Niamh Ballantyne found her beagle BOB and G4 in Jackie Fraser’s Wyvisview Pinnochio However it was Larry’s daughter Revenite Rhapsody Angel and his housemate Wyvisview Knickerbocker who stole the show. Having won AV Hound Special Minor Puppy and AV Hound Special Puppy respectively, they then went on to win Best Special Minor Puppy In Show and Reserve Best Special Puppy in show judged by Mr David Alcorn. Rhapsody Angel is owned and bred by Mark and Jonathan Stephenson-Bramley.

Best Special Minor Puppy In Show Revenite Rhapsody Angel and delighted owner

While beagles were having success in the north of Scotland, Luisa Fallon and Gregor Watson were over 200 miles away in the Scottish Borders town of Kelso where ‘Boss’ swapped the show ring for the agility ring and came 2nd in Grade 3 jumping at Platinum Agility show.

Congratulations to two SBC members who took top awards in the breed at WELKS championship show on Monday 25th April. Serena Parker and Graham Stevens had an excellent day, starting with Ch Serenaker Armani taking the RDCC followed by kennel mate Ch Serenaker Maid In America going one better and taking the BCC. Lynda and Pam Havard’s junior bitch Annavah Princess Tiana was the RBCC winner.
