At SOUTH WALES KA Championship show on 9th October the only SBC members in the top awards were Lynda and Pam Havard whose Ch Annavah Princess Tiana won her 9th CC. The judge was Claire Jones and this was her debut CC appointment. Tiana also won the Champion stakes on the day (Hound/Toy) judged by Jackie Kitchener.

The last Championship show of the month was MIDLAND COUNTIES with beagles being judged by Ruth Lockett-Walters on Friday 28th October. Best of Breed was David Craig’s Ch Davricard Jacob having won his 31st CC.

Lorna and Anne Binks were the only Scottish representatives with their Tannahill beagles and what a great show they had winning junior dog, minor puppy bitch and puppy bitch. To top it off the minor puppy winner Tannahill Zola owned by Anne went on to win Best Puppy in Breed aged just 6 months.
